Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am setting out on February 14th to climb the highest mountain in Africa and the highest stand alone mountain in the world..Mount Kilimanjaro. The trek is expected to take 7 days to complete and could see temperatures fall as low as minus 20 degrees celcius!!! As well as the cold temperatures I will likely have to battle against altitude sickness, and extreme fatigue.

I am completing this epic trip in aid of the Acts Trust which is a fantastic local charity that is commited to recognising the needs of and working with families and individuals across the county - many of whom are marginalised and socially disadvantaged. The two main focuses of the charity are:

(1) Nurturing young people

(2)Supporting economocially and/or socially disadvantaged  adults and famillies.

I have decided to raise money for the Acts Trust so we can directly see the impact of the money raised within the communities in which we live and work.
