Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2014 · 10 August 2014 ·

Every year we provide care and support to over 6,500 people across South East London, both at home and in the hospice. We passionately believe that everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. We need to fundraise £16 million each year to continue our services

Story

Andrew McArthur, Louisa Gilpin, Stef Ainsworth, Tony Dunkels and Jothann Durnall are forming Team Joanna to complete Ride London 100, a 100 mile cycle, in memory of Joanna McArthur who was Andrew's wife and the rest of the team's friend.

Joanna died of breast cancer on 27th May 2013 aged 34 years old, following a six year battle.

Joanna was an incredibly courageous and dignified lady and through the care and compassion of St. Christopher's Hospice she was able to maintain that courage and dignity right to the end.

St. Christopher's is a small charity that relies on £10m of donations each year just to break even, so if you feel you could donate some money to this amazing charity, no matter what amount, it would be gratefully received.
