Story
Jemma: Nan I’ve signed up to do that 10k run in Rotherham for Age UK, which we’re supporting at work. I think I’m probably going to die.
Nan: Ooh good god, yes, you are!
Family support at its finest...

I've now managed to drag Kathryn, my news buddy and brand new running partner, into this with me...
So, if you’d like to sponsor the most unfit newsreaders to ever grace the earth, you’re in the right place 👋🏻
Age UK were super helpful to my nan when she became basically a full time carer to my grandad who is currently battling the bitch of a condition that is dementia. So this - inevitably getting halfway then needing an ambulance and an oxygen mask - is my version of a thank you to them..
If you can donate even a quid it’ll go a long way in helping older people like my main lass, Rita, in getting the help and support they not only need but deserve.
Thanks,
Jemma x
