Story
We’re embarking on a 100km walk/run from London to Brighton to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK in honour of our dear friend and neighbour who was diagnosed with this dreadful disease 18 months ago. Witnessing a young woman, who is a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, and cousin, endure the agony of this disease has been heart-wrenching.
We are determined to do what we can to help Britta give back and to support everyone else affected by pancreatic cancer. We believe that by raising money for research and awareness, we can contribute to finding a cure for this deadly disease. Please consider supporting us on this challenging journey by donating to our JustGiving page. Your contribution will make a difference in the fight against pancreatic cancer. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Britta and the Sandhills Stompers
It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They're supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help them to make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need.
