It was amazing to meet Brian after all this time not knowing if he had survived. I helped to rescue him from drowning in a river in Broadbottom Tameside in 2013 after a cycling accident. When we met this year after he found me through social media there was a real bond that is hard to explain. My first aid skills and fitness from being a PE teacher allowed me to be calm and know what to do so when we met I promised him I would find a way to raise some money for one of his favourite charities. Now he is a successful author helping children in schools learn huge life lessons and being a thoroughly amazing guy.

I have always wanting to walk the Camino so when my Spanish cousin Mariana said she was looking for someone to do it with I believe that fate aligned these stars. Mariana lives in La Coruna North Spain.
