We are raising money for Tearfund in memory of a wonderful wife, Mum, Granny and friend, Joyce Patterson. Those who knew Joyce, will know that she was a kind and selfless person, always putting the needs of others before her own. 

We are so grateful for all the lovely messages from friends and members of the community telling us of thoughtful ways in which Joyce welcomed and supported them. It was in her nature to help those in need and for this reason she wanted donations to be made to Tearfund, a Christian charity that helps those living in poverty across the world. 

Donations made before 30 April 2021 will be doubled thanks to an incredibly generous group of Tearfund supporters that have agreed to match all donations up to a total of £1.5 million as part of their Lent Appeal.

Until 30 April, my fundraising will be doubled, thanks to an incredibly generous group of supporters (up to a collective total of £1 million!) You can help start to restore a sense of home for people who have lost everything. £273 doubled could provide enough clothing for 20 children like Abeer's that fit them and protects them from the extremes of heat in summer and cold in winter. *Name changed for protection
