Chip's Joyworks FEF Giving Challenge

John Keough is raising money for Foundry Educational Foundation

Joyworks FEF Giving Challenge · 10 July 2020

The FEF Board is challenging the metalcasting industry to raise funds for our critical scholarship fund. More students will need financial assistance in Fall 2020 due to lack of internships and jobs this summer because of the COVID 19 crisis.

Story

The Foundry Educational Foundation works with its associated schools and industry partners to identify, nuture, train and employ the next generation of leaders in metalcasting.  I was a University of Michigan FEF delegate to the College Industry Conference in 1977 and met my first employer there.  FEF funds supported my metalcasting internship which prepared me for a rewarding and lucrative career in the metalcasting industry.  Right now the next generation of leaders are waiting to be discovered.  FEF has a successful track record.  Over 70% of all FEF-supported students metriculate from college into the metalcasting-related industry.  If you personally benefitted from FEF's efforts, it's time to pay it forward.  If you think growing the next generation of leaders in metalcasting is a worthwile cause, please donate.  Thank you, in advance, for your consideration and support.
