Why am I doing this ? Well firstly this is a charity close to my heart. Not only are they local but we've had personal connections with them over the years. From our first dog Poppy who we got from Sunnyside before it came under the BDH umbrella through to our most recent rehoming of a Staffy called Luna.

The personal reason is from our connections with Star, who you might have seen as my main Twitch profile picture. She was in the home for other 8 months after getting tied up outside a Vets one cold wintery day. She was covered in Demodex Mange and required many treatments to free her of the infection. This was task was taken upon by the Birmingham Centre (since now closed and moved to the new location) and more so her canine carer's Casey and Helen. The charity much much more on Star with her food Vet care and treatments than was asked for when rehoming her. Her time at the centre meant she got to know many of staff there through her visits and antics in the various departments she was allowed to visit, no more so than the fund raising department, which of course brings us to why the page and the dedicating  and donating my twitch stream to supporting the charity. 

Birmingham Dog's Home does not get any government support and relies solely upon their fund raising efforts and support of others and other companies. This is simply my way of giving an extra little bit of support on top of my own personal month donation to the charity.
