This is an all inclusive event, drawing on all aspects of J.P. Morgan from the Corporate and Investment Bank to the Private Bank, with employees from Bournemouth, London, Dublin and Glasgow set to participate in this year's Round the Island Challenge. The event will consist of three elements; sailing, cycling and running.

The J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race is one of the world's largest yacht races and attracts approx 1,700 yachts each year. The yacht race is a 50 nautical mile circuit around the Isle of Wight and this year there will be 140+ J.P. Morgan employees taking part in the sailing.

Additionally, the Round the Island Cycle Challenge will take place at the same time as the yacht race on Saturday 27 June. The cycling offers two distances to cater for all; a 30 mile or a more challenging 62 mile route. There will be 130+ cyclists taking on the enormous challenge of the Isle of Wight cycle routes, which makes hard work for even the toughest cyclists.

Following the success of last year's pilot to incorporate a running event with a 10K route, this year will include both a 10K and a more challenging Half Marathon distance, both of which will also take place Saturday 27 June. The cycling and running events are open to all J.P. Morgan employees, as well as employees friends and families too!

This is the ninth year we have taken part in the Round the Island event. It is not only a great day both on and off the water, it is also a great opportunity to help raise money and make a real difference to the lives of young people recovering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses. To date, with your help, we have raised over £160,000 for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust - a fantastic achievement.  Last year was our record year for fund-raising where we raised over a phenomenal £33,000 and we’d like to break the record again this year!
