We are JRNI Records - An independent music label based in Manchester. Our sound primarily focuses on ethereal and emotionally driven techno, sonically spiritual at its core.

JRNI (pronunciation: juh·nee) was created within the confines of national lockdown by close friends Will Pugh & Levi David. The lockdown made us realise the fragility of life, and as a result, we became determined to chase our dream within the electronic music industry.

Following years of dealing with our own personal struggles and shortcomings, we decided that our main goal was to utilise the brand to help others who share the same problems. The confines of lockdown haven't been easy on the nation, and sadly, we lost one of our own to the horrific disease that is mental health.

Just before the announcement of our record label launch, the sad and unexpected news of our friend Ryan's tragic passing was a mournful time for the team.

Ryan Wolverson was the life and soul of the party, filling every room he entered with joy, love and laughter. He was the sweetest, most caring guy you could ever hope to meet.

Ryan had a penchant for dance music & rave culture. He would be the first and the last set of trainers on the dance-floor at events all over the world. For hours at work, we would talk about DJs & events we've been to and ultimately Ryan's quest for the Holy Grail - Ibiza.

To celebrate the life of Ryan and others who are unfortunately no longer with us, we invite you to join us on Saturday 26th September from 6PM (GMT) for an evening of euphoric dance music, live-streamed to your living room.

Our special guest DJ for the night is Tommy Farrow (Stress Records), who has seen massive success in 2020 with his Let's Just / Can't Explain EP release. His euphoric breakbeat style has gained him the acclaimed Hottest Record accolade, recently bestowed by BBC Radio 1 Mista Jam & regular play from Annie Mac.

Joining him is JRNI head honcho, Levi David and the ever spellbinding ITSHEr, who will both be supplying a blend of energetic sounds for this evening performance.

Reducing the stigma around men's mental health and speaking out is an important current issue and outlets like CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) are on the frontline when it comes to offering essential help. To support them in this cause, we will be giving 100% of donations made through our stream to them.
