JTCC's Runcorn to Lands End Charity Ride

Runcorn to Paris · 15 July 2020
Originally we were set to cycle from Runcorn to Paris however, due to Covid-19, we have had to change our plans and instead a small group of us will be cycling from Runcorn to Lands End, covering approximately 450 miles, over 5 days, and with greater elevation than the original ride.
We have a team of 5 riders taking on this challenge from JTCC Halton, and local company, INOVYN. Jane Kinsella, Ian Bate, Martin Catterall, Peter Dee and Richard Griffiths will be trying to complete this ride to help raise much needed funds for Stick and Step.
Stick and Step help support local children and young people with cerebral palsy and their families.
They offer free weekly conductive education group sessions to children and young people from across the North West. Delivered from their specialised centres in Wallasey and Runcorn, the sessions are designed to help each child to reach their personal potential in terms of their confidence, mobility and independence.
Help us, to help this fantastic charity who are completely independent and receive all of their funding from the generosity of local people, communities, businesses and grant-making trusts. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, charities have had a lot of fundraising cut or cancelled and now need our help more than ever.
If you would like to know more about Stick and Step, please read their page below and thank you for taking the time to read our story!
