Story
It's three years since we lost Sam to Leukaemia. Not a day goes by when I don't think about him and miss him with every fibre of my being.
I remain grateful for the time we had together and for the invaluable support we received from family, friends and charities during our oncology journey.
Spread a Smile raised a smile when, quite frankly, there was not a lot to smile about and continue to support us to this day.
So, in Sam's memory and to raise funds for Spread a Smile, I am attempting the Royal Windsor Triathlon in June - Olympic Distance - 1,500m swim in the river, 42km cycle and 10km run incorporating the Long Walk!....eek.......
Although originally booked in 2020, the event has crept up on me and I started training a little later than would have been ideal but I am going to give it a shot..
