As most of you know, I like to run, and have been lucky enough to secure a place in this event in support of Smart Works Charity and am humbled to be able to give something back to other women.  

Please spare anything you can to motivate me to run faster (I am aiming to beat my PB at this distance of 1:45:00 which I achieved way back in 2011 and have definitely got slower in my old age!) but more importantly, I would love to make a difference for as many women as I can and every penny helps to do this, so thank you.

In case you don't know much about Smart Works, it is a UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for their job interview. 

They empower each woman by giving her the clothes, coaching and confidence she needs to succeed and transform her life. After visiting Smart Works, 72% secure a job within a month, gaining financial independence and starting a new chapter.
