Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In September 2016, I was rushed to hospital with what turned out to be a little-known, stress-induced form of heart failure called Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy. My heart actually changed shape (takotsubo is Japanese for 'octopus pot') and its function was measured at a mere 18%.
Fortunately, this turned out to be a reversible type of heart failure. Thanks to the expert care I received at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, I have made a full recovery. Now, I want to give something back to say thank you, and I hope my friends will support me.
