This October, I'm walking 100 miles to support life-saving ovarian cancer research.

Ovarian cancer has the lowest survival rate of all gynaecological cancers, yet more than half of women are diagnosed at an advanced stage when treatment options are limited.

But together, we can change that.

We are walking in memory of my mum, June Humphries, who passed away 3 short months after getting the devastating diagnosis that broke us all. My mum was always very active, being a P.E Teacher for over 30+years. She played hockey growing up and well into adulthood. Up until her diagnosis was still out on the golf course playing golf at every opportunity. So we are hoping to help a little in raising awareness to ladies out there and be aware of the symptoms.
