Harry's Fund was formed following the tragic death of 5 year old Harry Nye Patterson at his home in Alltwen, South Wales. The Fund is raising money to develop a Park for the local community in Harry's name and to help others who face similar tragic circumstances. We thank you for your support.

Story

I have now completed the BUPA 10km run in sweltering conditions but in an amazing atmosphere!

My official time was 1:14:48

Donations are still welcome - hopefully I can get close to doubling my original target of £250!

I was running for Harry's fund

Harry was the son of my friend and actor Christian Patterson. No words can explain what he, his wife Michelle and remaining son  Dylan have gone through since last September.

“Harry was a healthy, lively 5 year old golden haired boy who loved to make people smile, he was so full of life, fearless, clever, confident, loving, caring, cheeky and mischievous all rolled into one. He was a free spirit, happy to play with others but just as happy on his own. He was creative and expressed himself in his own extraordinary Harry way.

But on the 13th of September 2011, Harry Nye Patterson tragically died in an accident on the driveway of his own home.

Harry's Fund has been set up to keep the memory of Harry alive in everyone’s thoughts. “He was a typical 5 year old

who loved life, made people laugh and was as wicked as they come. The 5 years that he was with us, he touched everyone’s lives, the impact he had on everyone was amazing.”

This charity has been set up following Harry’s tragic death with the main aims being:  To develop a memorial park for the benefit of the community of Alltwen and surrounding areas and to help and support children within the local community, and to go on to help any family who has lost a child in tragic circumstances.
