Story
In August 2021 I was taken to hospital very unwell. This is when it was found I had a tumour the size of an orange and need removing asap. The meningioma (tumour) formed on the membranes that cover my brain in the meninges, this was slow growing (unsure how long it was there for) and was benign. The care I received at Salford Royal was excellent and have had all the tumour removed. Now this is my time to give back to this charity so that we may find out why and how these tumours occur, how best to treat them and how after all the treatment the brain recovers.
