“Our mission is to provide emergency food supplies and support to people in crisis, while working with people, communities, and our partner agencies to address the underlying causes of food poverty.”

Story

I am a Foodbank volunteer and see all too clearly how many people will be hungry and cold this winter ( sadly, much beyond winter too). Cycling and running around Arthur's Seat, in a wet swimming costume, in sub-zero temperatures only emphasises how awful it must be to not be able to afford to have food and warmth. The Edinburgh Food Project ( EFP) provides emergency food supplies and support to people in crisis. EFP operates eight Foodbank centres in Edinburgh, which provide not only food, also toiletries, money advice and mental health support. Over 90% of the supplies comes from public donation....every £ donated ( or food left in collection point in your local supermarket) will truly help. Thank you for your support.
