Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page!

On the 26th April (when the London Marathon was due to take place) I have decided to attempt to complete a sponsored marathon around the top paddock at our sanctuary to raise much needed funds for our charity during this difficult time.

I am aiming to complete the full 26.2 miles, which equates to 78 laps of the paddock and I hope to raise £100 for every mile I complete!

As for so many other charities, businesses and individuals, the crisis we have found ourselves in is a very worrying time for Flicka financially. With the lock-down extended and zero support being offered to animal charities by the government, we are extremely anxious as to what the future may hold for us.

I may have to jog/walk/crawl parts of this challenge and be carried home on a stretcher, but I am determined to do it for the donkeys!

They need us to continue to be there for them and to do that we need to keep those vital funds coming in somehow...
