The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

I'm supporting the TwoPointSix Challenge.

Many fundraising events in the UK have been postponed or cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whilst we are all hopeful many of these events will go ahead at a later date, many charities across the UK have been left struggling to maintain their services.

Thesecharities need our support now more than ever. From those supporting children to the elderly, as well as those providing vital palliative care, mental health support, housing, food supplies and more. It’s never been more important to come together and show how much we care.

So today I’m going to try to do my bit.

I’m looking for as many people as possible who want to learn to juggle.

My aim is to teach at least 26 people but hopefully more. And to raise a minimum of £260 in the process.

All I ask is that if you would like to learn with me that you make a donation to my chosen charity.

Autism and all things Spectrum are very close to my heart. With 2 sons who have Asperger’s and me with ADHD, Spectrum conditions affect our family on a daily basis.

Covid19 has affected everyone. But for children and adults with severe Autism it’s especially challenging. Routines that they have in place to help them get through day to day life have been turned upside down.

Instead of careful planning and preparation to make changes it’s happened with no warning and the impacts are huge.

In these difficult times, the National Autistic Society offers support, online counselling and assistance to families in desperate need of new tools to cope.
