Royal Parks Half Marathon 2023 · 8 October 2023 ·

We are a children's cancer charity funding research into finding more targeted and less harsh treatments for the childhood solid tumour, Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS). We have invested in 13 RMS research projects at leading UK institutions. We also support the children and families impacted by the disease.

Story

On the 17th of December 2018, the 3 year old son of our dear friends Benjamin and Caroline Ronsseray and my wife’s godson, Gaspard, was diagnosed with stage 3 rhabdomyosarcoma pelvic cancer. Everyone’s lives changed forever.

Gaspard finished his main treatment in July 2019 and has received a 12 months maintenance chemotherapy treatment.

Gaspard is now a fine and healthy young boy with very few little secondary effects from the treatment.

Our friends can say they are blessed as parents and as a family.

It is now time for all of us to give back to the Cancer community which has been incredible during this journey.

This is why we are supporting Alice’s Arc, a registered charity raising funds for and awareness of rhabdomyosarcoma cancer.

For the 2023 London Royal Park Half marathon, we are a group of runners taking part and fundraising for Alice’s Arc.
