I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 12th 2025 to raise money for Alice’s Arc, through Gaspard’s Arc—an offshoot supporting Alice’s Arc. This incredible children’s cancer charity funds vital research into finding a cure for Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.

Alice’s Arc has been instrumental in helping Gaspard, my wife’s godson and the son of one of my closest friends, to overcome this terrible disease. Earlier this year, he joyfully celebrated five years in remission—a milestone made possible thanks to the support and research driven by charities like Alice’s Arc.

It’s a real family effort: Louis, Madeleine, and Rose will also be taking part, running the 5k the day before the half marathon to show their support.

Back in 2021, last time I ran for the charity, the team raised more than £60,000 with about 40 runners.
