Having had cancer myself in 2004 and then losing my lovely Mum to cancer in January, I wanted to do something challenging to mark what an amazing person she was and to raise money for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres - whose staff and volunteers at the Edinburgh centre have given our family so much support and love over the years.

My partner Francis and I are setting out from the Edinburgh Maggie's on Saturday 1 June and will visit every one of the 21 existing Maggie's Centres across the UK, ending back at the Edinburgh centre on Friday 28 June..cycling over 1,600 miles in the process!  You can view a map of where they are located here: www.maggiescentres.org/our-centres/
