COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is #EddysTour page

After recent events I think it's never been so more important to help my fellow injured colleagues get the help and the support they need to facilitate getting them back on the road to recovery . Far too often we overlook colleagues who are long term injured or sick it's easy to forget as the day to day hectic shift work lifestyle we all lead distracts us from absent colleagues especially if they are off for a long time.

I admit I've pinched this wording off of UKCOPS it best explains what they do better than I can !

"Care of Police Survivors is a UK registered charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives whilst on duty. It aims to ensure that survivors have all the help they need to cope with such a tragedy, and that they remain part of the police family as they rebuild their lives"

So please take some time to donate if you are fellow 999 family or just want to support police officers in their time of need because these are the people that turn up in your time of need when you need help the most .These are the people that run towards the danger to protect you when everyone else is running away .

Thank you
