Whilst watching the SUTC bake off on channel 4 (yes, I was only watching it for James McAvoy) it struck me whilst watching the personal stories, and thinking how cancer has and still is affecting some people I love, that I should give them some money but I am flat broke. 

It also occurred to me that I need some inspiration and a bit of a kick up the bum with my running which I've been back into now for 6 weeks so this seems like a good fit!

I will run every day in April, come rain or shine (or snow possibly by the look of it) and you can sponsor me and the money will go to this great cause. I will have my Huawei tracker on to prove it in case anyone would like to see (I don't have a smart watch or strava or anything as my phone is also dropping to bits) and will post updates of my progress. 

Runs will be between 2 and 5km daily and I'm aiming for about 80km over the course of the month, although I guess we'll see how that goes 😂
