As someone who doesn't even "do" glamping (nevermind camping), I figured colleagues, friends & family would find it ironic, amusing & somewhat bewildering to know I have agreed to sleep on the streets - and yes, that's without a tent!

What isn't necessarily amusing is the reason I'm doing it - & that is to raise funds to help those who are less fortunate than me & who have endured far more than just one night sleeping "rough".

A friend of mine runs Coatham House which gives young people a helping hand who have already lost their way in life. My son is 12 & I can not imagine how vulnerable he would feel or how daunting it would be for him to be in that position. If my efforts can go towards making another young adult feel less vulnerable & less daunted, then it will be worth it.

My friend asked for my help & I'm therefore giving it (with bells on)! 

I know Christmas is around the corner & we're all busy gearing up for that, but if you do feel able to support me, in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Not just by me, but all those at Coatham House.
