I'm walking 27 miles through the Peak District with my wife, mum and a few friends to try and raise as much as we can for Macmillan Cancer Support.

My dad has had cancer twice and fortunately survived it but not everyone is that 'lucky'. 

A friend of ours, a policeman aged 34, died in February this year after a short and horrible battle with cancer.

We have never walked this far before and it will be hard but we're determined to try and raise as much money as we can.
