Demelza 101 Sittingbourne to Paris 2018 · 2 May 2018 to 6 May 2018 ·

Demelza believes in care that doesn't back down. We deliver extraordinary care to extraordinary children who are facing serious or life-limiting conditions, throughout Kent, South East London and East Sussex.

Story

Jason Margetts, Andy Wallis, Julian Evans and Mike McIvor from Berkeley (East Thames) are cycling from Sittingbourne to Paris over 4 days to raise money for Demelza, Berkeley Homes (East Thames) supported charity.

Demelza support around 500 seriously ill babies, children and young people and their families across East Sussex, Kent and South East London every year.  When a family has been told that there may not be a cure for their child's illness, Demelza Hospice Care for Children is here to make life just that little bit easier.

This challenge has been put together exclusively for Demelza supporters. Day 1 starts in Sittingbourne to Dover (80 miles). Day 2 they leave Calais and head towards Arras (84 miles). Day 3 head south through Somme, arriving at Compiegne (78 miles). Day 4, final day, Compiegne to Paris passing through Champs Elysees to finish under the spectacular Eiffel Tower (65 miles).

To help Jason, Andy, Julian and Mike raise money for this great cause and reach their £6,000 target, please follow the link to:  http://www.justgiving.com/Julian-Andy-Jason-Bikeride-Paris
