We work with churches, individuals and local organisations in communities worldwide, supporting people of all faiths and none to rise out of poverty. We help people survive disasters, deal with the impact of climate change, find shelter from conflict and have a voice in their communities.

Story

Over a million children and young people in Kenya have lost their parents as a result of HIV and AIDS.

Of the 160,000 children under 15 years living with HIV, less than half get the lifesaving antiretroviral drugs they need to survive.

For every £1 you give to help Christian Aid make a difference to 170,000 children in Kenya, an extra £20 will be added from USAid.

A £5 donation from you becomes £105 and £10 becomes £210! And every £100 raised becomes £2100! NB. Your donations have gone over £1,000 which means the total match funded is over £21,000! Amazing isn’t it?!

This makes cycling up the 1 in 3 Hardknott Pass worth it - well I'll try to cycle up as high as I can!
