British 10K - Westminster 2018 · 15 July 2018 ·

The Jermain Defoe Foundation was founded in 2013 by England striker Jermain Defoe to support homeless, vulnerable and abused young people in his family’s home country of St Lucia. The charity has expanded its cause to support children in need in all Caribbean Islands and the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in my 3rd British 10K on the 15th of July and I chose to also raise funds through some support from you! Friends and Family.
Last time we raised £233, £33 over the target well done and thanks to all!
This time I thought we'd push the target to £250!

I have chosen the Jermain Defoe Foundation due to all the good causes they have done for vulnerable children in St Lucia as well as the support they have given to neighbouring Dominica after hurricane Maria.

This support is close to home for my family both Grenadian and Jamaican and we want to help to raise the awareness and support vulnerable children around the world and in the UK.

I will also be running in memory of my Aunt who I dedicated my last 10K run which was with Macmillan cancer support.
