Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In the early hours of Saturday 28th April 2018, 10 guys and gals, with ages ranging from 35 to 70, on cycles and a tandem will leave Ilkeston and travel through East Bridgford, Coddington, Boothby Graffoe, Woodhall Spa, Old Bolingbroke, Burgh Le Marsh, before their triumphant entry into Skegness, some 90+ miles later.
The Wild Hog cyclists are:
Boss Hog , Gav Shaw. Paul Dean. Dave White. Bill Dunbar. Godfrey Ohanlon. Andy Mee. Christine Simpson. Jules Skelton. Adam Hull. Mark Leary.
Support team:
Andy Inwood. Toni Wrench.
They will all be wearing the distinctive Orange Myeloma t shirts, so if you see them give them a cheer and 'dig deep'.
'The Wild Hogs' are a bigger group who cycle regularly and also have a shared enthusiasm for 'Real Ale'. Some of you more local people will notice flyers for the event and collection boxes in a number of real ale houses where donations will be gratefully accepted.
For those that don't know Myeloma is an incurable bone marrow cancer that is very difficult to diagnose. It can be treated and as this is Myeloma UK's 21st Anniversary we are hoping some of our donations can go forward to their target of 'Making Myeloma History'.
On a personal note and having Myeloma myself I would like to thank you all for whatever part you play in my story.
