Story
Since first having a go at the 5k "Park Run" back in 2020, I've really loved running once a week. I was very uncertain about running, as I'd experienced a lot of joint pain following 5 years of broken sleep when my children were small and not sleeping so well! This said, I originally intended to walk the Park Run course, but I soon got swept up in the event, had a bash at jogging it and haven't looked back. While still not entirely pain-free, running has certainly helped my joints and pain level. I ran the Oxford half-marathon in 2023 and it was one of the best days of my life, a great experience. Now I'm looking forward to trying the London Landmarks half-marathon to support WaterAid...
