Ohsun and I are Orthodontic registrars working in Cambridge (Julian) and London (Ohsun). We are fortunate to see the huge impact cleft repairs can have on children with a cleft lip and/or palate. 

However in developing countries, there are millions of children who are suffering with un-repaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly and often aren’t allowed to attend school or hold a job. Most face very difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain and heartache.

In September, Ohsun and I will spend hours in the saddle, cycling 309 miles from London to Paris IN ONE DAY to raise money for Smile Train. Smile Train helps medical professionals around the world with training, funding, and resources to provide free cleft surgery and cleft care to children in their local communities. 

Supporting us allows Smile Train to give children with clefts a second chance at life that they never thought they'd get.
