Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

On 18th May I will be taking part in the 5k Cure Leukaemia Fun Run.  While this may not seem a great distance to many to me it is more like a marathon!  The reason for this is that for the last 20 years I have been living with leukaemia.   It has taken this amount of time for me to start regaining strength, muscle tone and stamina which were irradicated due to the treatments that were available then.  However, it is not all doom and gloom.  Opportunities and treatments have improved vastly over the last few years.  Cure Leukaemia is a charity set up to support a new Leukaemia Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (where I was and still continue to be treated) which has contributed grately to the advancements in treating patients living with the disease.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cure Leukaemia will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
