It's time to get active, because nature needs your help. Join our challenge Move for trees, complete 50km of activity between 1 -31 October, and raise money, or donate, to help plant more trees.

Story

UPDATE: Target which started at a modest £100 now stretched to £450, thanks so much for your support! £450 would fund the planting of 90 trees, 1 representing each year of Johns life.

As a family we have supported the work of The National Trust for a long time. John sadly passed away this summer who was an avid walker annd lover of nature. He was very fond of both the work of the National Trust and of protecting the UK's woodlands. The opportunity to both stay active and plant trees in his memory means a lot to us as a family and all support is incredibly appreciated.

I walk a mile every day to collect the paper to stay active and top this up with walks around town - not bad for mid 80's!
