Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was due to run my the Bath Half in the spring this year but the beast from the east saw this cancelled. Undeterred I signed up for the Coventry Half, when the beast from the east 2 struck!

As I was  raising funds for Diabetes UK, as a tribute to my sister Debbie, the very kind people at Diabetes UK offered me a place on the GNR.

My sister Debbie, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 6. Diabetes ultimately limited her life and we lost Debbie just over 3 years ago at just 42, which has been heart breaking.

Debbie was a wonderful sister, daughter, mother, wife, aunt and friend. She was kind and loving and is missed dearly.

Diabetes UK are the largest charity focused on diabetes research and have invested £60 million in the last ten years. But equally important is the grassroot  support they give to help improve the quality of life of the millions who live with diabetes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your support.
