Story
After running the London Marathon and raising just over £3,500 for Willen Hospice. I wanted a new challenge.
I thoroughly enjoyed hosting quiz nights, running sweepstakes, and putting on other events. Keeping everyone up to date on my training - the good and the bad.
After crossing that finish line. I realised just how incredible fundraising was. How nearly 200 people spared some money to donate to the hospice. It was incredible and I want to continue to encourage people to donate where they can. And if that means I have to go hiking 5,895m above sea level then so be it.
I wasn’t sure what fundraising challenge I wanted to do next. But I thought - it needs to top a marathon and go to the next level. So that’s exactly what I’m doing.
Willen Hospice we’re incredible for my dad. But I know that YOU will have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Your family, friends, friend of a friend - or perhaps even yourself. That’s why I’m doing this for Cancer Research. I’m doing it for all of us. Not just me and my dad, but every single person who has been affected by cancer.
The target is bigger. The distance is longer. The date is further in advance. It’s time to go big, so I don’t have to go home!
All monies must be donated 10 weeks before I travel. So don’t hesitate.
I can’t wait to show you all what other fundraising craziness I have in store!! Let’s get hiking - hit me up for any weekend walks you’ve got going on ❤️
