Story

Friends of Angela are organising the annual charity walk, venturing on the first section of the West Highland Way from Milngavie to Balmaha on Saturday May 5th 2018. We start at 0930.

We hold many special personal and loving memories of Angela close to our hearts and this is a happy day where we are able to reflect on her life and make a tangible difference in her memory.

Our chosen charity - Saint Margaret of Scotland Hospice - has supported Glasgow and the West since 1950 providing palliative care for those with life-limiting conditions. Angela received such care, attention and love but not before she herself became one of the Beatson Oncology Units largest single fund-raisers in 2012, walking the full West Highland Way during her treatment. This single minded determination shown by Angela provides us the platform with which to do great things, thus ensuring those individuals and families who need Saint Margaret's care and support will receive it when needed.

The Walk has varying degrees of difficulty and we make the following suggestions which are similar to past years: -

Suggested donations
