After a twenty year break from running I completed the NHS Couch to 5K plan just as my sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  Esther had many other health problems and lost her sight to Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension, a rare neurological disorder.  When she was in a hospice at the end of her life she asked me to raise money for the charity that provides support, education and advice for those with the condition.  I will run, albeit slowly, to keep her memory alive!
