Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As some of you know i was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer in April 2016 and given 12-15 months to live. But thanks to the amazing work of our NHS i was able to have my operation to remove the tumour along with the head of the pancreas, gall bladder, duodenum and part of my stomach in April of this year. My scans have been showing no signs of disease but recently my blood marker has risen slightly and I now have to go for a PET scan incase it is back, so my fight continues. Im trying to raise as much funds as possible to enable PCUK to continue their work, raising awareness, providing valueable support and information to patients and their carers and research into this silent killer. At present pancreatic cancer is the fifth biggest killer and by 2026 it will be the fourth but still only recieves a small percentage of funding to help find a cure. So any donations would be greatly appreciated no matter how small..... Even a pound is sound!!!! Thanks in advance Julie 💜💜💜
