So here goes-welcome to my mad challenge.

Due to lockdown I need to focus on my next fundraising challenge. I have decided to run and walk 100 miles (160 kilometres )in the month of May.  The majority of it being running.  I normally run between 5-15k a week (3.1-9.3 miles), so 25 miles a week will be a big physical and time challenge for me. This distance is just under 4 marathons. My average daily run will be 3.2 miles, but can run more or less (hopefully not less) to make it up to 100 miles by the 31st May. Also due to national restrictions I will be harder for me running solo, as I do like to have  someone running with me to keep me motivated.

I will be fundraising for the children's charity Dreamflight.  As you may already know from your support in the past, a high percentage of Dreamflight's  volunteers and fundraisers are working in the NHS, and apart from doing their normal amazing work they also work tirelessly throughout the year raising money to allow 192 sick and disabled children to experience a holiday of a lifetime to Florida.  Due to Covid-19, fundraising has stopped for Dreamflight, and I know many of my 'Dreamflight family' are feeling a little frustrated that they do not have the time and physical energy to then go and raise money for this years trip. So, I'm doing my bit to help. I have no fundraising target, but whatever support you can give me will be gratefully received to give me the motivation to carry on and succeed in my mad May challenge. Please give me a beep if you drive past.

Thank You all so much for reading this, and give if you can.
