The great Glencoe challenge · 7 July 2018

The main activities of the charity are search and rescue of missing or injured persons in the hills of Tayside Region and beyond, the provision of training and equipment for the mountain rescue team members and the raising of funds to support such activities.

Story

So a few weeks ago myself and my four amazing friends walked the Glen Lyon horseshoe.  After reaching our 4th munro the cloud came down and didn't go away. It was getting late and we couldn't find the path, so we called Tay side search and rescue for help. We spent an unforgettable night on the mountain.  At 3am we were safety escorted off by 2 amazing police officers and a fantastic dog.

The Glen coe challenge was not going to be a sponsored walk for us but we thought it would be great to raise so money for a fantastic service.

Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks. Julie xx
