Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most people have a heroic tale to tell on these pages. Mine is not one of those! We were in the pub one Saturday afternoon with my brother-in-law Jeff.  He started telling us that he'd signed up with Wendy to do a 10k run for a children's cancer charity.

Jeff will forgive me for saying - he is not a runner which made his commitment all the more special.  My husband Steve then pipes up - ooooh I fancy that.  Steve has turned into a duracell bunny and can run for miles!

By this time I'd consumed a few glasses of Sauvignon and I heard the words pouring out - oooh let's all do it! I've run 5k before (a couple of years ago) how hard can it be? Then Jeff's on the phone 'booking us in'.

So, there you have it.  

But, on a serious note, it's a fantastic charity - if I can raise some funds to help their brilliant work it'll be worth it.
