Story
During the month of June, I will be walking a total of 121 miles (the combined length of the London Underground’s Northern, District and Piccadilly lines) to raise money for Isabel Hospice. I’ve come up with this challenge to motivate me to stay active, and thought I would raise money for a great cause in the process.
Isabel Hospice does incredible work, providing free care at home, across Living Well community hubs and at their In-Patient Unit. Most of their patients have cancer, however, they are caring for more people with other life-limiting conditions. They rely heavily on donations from the public; This year, the Hospice must raise £6.2 million so that they can continue to care for more people, earlier in their journey.
