Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page.

I have now completed the Headeast challenge - cycling 1000km over 9 consecutive days from Vietnam to Cambodia by mountain bike. All the money we raise is going to the vital and life saving Headsmart campaign - to raise awareness of brain tumours in children and young people. Early diagnosis saves lives and prevents prevents long term disabilities.

I have covered all the cost of the trip so every pound you donate goes directly towards the Headsmart campaign.

£100 could enable them to make 10 GP surgeries aware of the signs as symptoms of childhood brain tumours and the Headsmart tools available to support them so they know when to refer for a potentially life saving scan.

£50 could enable them to make 20 families 'brain tumour aware' through the Headsmart campaign so that diagnosis is quicker and lives may be saved.

The Headsmart campaign is run by the Lewis Moody Foundation, set up by the former England Rugby Captain to raise funds to help make a difference to families affected by critical illness.
