Parkinson's Disease Society - Trek China 2010 · 18 September 2010 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hi everyone, well we've made it back from China in one piece and are really happy to say that we completed the 80km trek of the Great Wall.

The whole experience was amazing, although at times it was certainly mentally and physically exhausting.  However, with the help of the wonderful group of people we were with, and knowing that just by doing this we were increasing awareness and helping to fund vital research for people suffering with Parkinson's Disease we were able to keep going.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who donated, because without your kind generosity and support we would never have reached our target.
