Story

G'day!

You thought that I was safely tucked out of the way down in Australia, and that your wallets were safe, but no, I am at it again.

On Sunday, August 10, I am participating in The Sun-Herald City2Surf, apparently a great Australian tradition.

I am trying to raise as much money as I can for a great cause by running the 14km from Sydney city centre to Bondi. If anyone thinks this is gonna be easy, I shall tell you three things ... 1) I haven't started training yet as I've hurt my back 2) it's the furthest I've ever run and 3) part of the course is called "Heartbreak Hill" for good reason.  You get the picture; it may not be Kili, but it's gonna be tough.

I have also set a fundraising challenge.  I have a charity site set up in Australia for cancer research and have bet the Aussies that us Brits will whoop them when it comes to donating.  So please dig deep to sponsor me coz we don't want the Aussies beating us at everything!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

You can also help my fundraising efforts, by sending this page onto as many people as possible.

So please sponsor me now!

Thank you!
