St Nicholas Hospice Care is a local charity based in West Suffolk and Thetford, serving our community since 1984. As a charity, we believe everyone matters in life and death, and we strive for something better for those facing dying, death and grief.

Story

Julie Morse is an incredible partner, daughter, sister, friend, colleague, and teacher who sadly lost a short battle with cancer in August 2016.

Julie received the best possible care during her 3 weeks in St Nicholas Hospice. The care they gave her and our family was outstanding and the family continue to get an brilliant level of support.

The hospice is the most calm, uplifting and positive environment and makes dealing with a life shortening illness just that little bit easier. We were all made to feel at home which enabled us to focus on Julie and make sure her last few weeks were a good as possible.

The hospice needs £11,000 per day to be able to provide this level of care so we want to raise as much as possible for them. Julie will want anyone facing a similar situation to be given the same level of support and will be proud to know we are giving something back but raising this money for them.
