Story

Hi there thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started running in September last year and wanted to set myself a goal. With the support of a local running club and a very good friend we took the plunge and entered the GNR.

Choosing the GNAA as my charity was the easy bit as I have experienced first hand the valuable work they do especially in our county of rural Northumberland.

As I am sure most of you will know I lost my beautiful daughter Freya in 2015 aged just 7 years old. Sadly Freya could not be saved but the advanced medical procedures and actions of the GNAA bought us precious time to say goodbye to our daughter.

Only in May of this year we were once again in the care of the GNAA crew when my husband Lewis was seriously injured and trampled by a cow on  our farm. Thankfully he is on the mend now but that is down to the quick response of the medics and crew who safely transported him to hospital in a stable condition.
