I have volunteered to do this for a couple of reasons;
Personally, a friend of mine in the UK died from melanoma a year ago on the 12th June 2016. She had a great family and friends and lots of support, but I know that she really appreciated organisations like MPA who were there when she needed more.
On a professional level I have worked for MPA for just over a year, and I see with my own eyes the impact Melanoma has on patients, and their families and friends. Melanoma Patients Australia is committed to providing patient-focused services for all Australians affected by melanoma. They provide information, guidance, support and assistance for family, friends and carers of those affected by melanoma.
